ABOUT ME

My name is Ben Bernard-Smith and I am a comic writer and artist. I

first got the idea of 'Save The Songbirds' when I was 11 or 12 in a

taxi with my family. I saw a tiny poster for a songbird charity and the

idea of small songbirds fighting big predators lit up my imagination.

Since then the idea has blossomed and bloomed into the story you

can read today. Much has changed from the initial storylines I came

up with when I was a teenager, but the thing that has remained is

the characters. These songbirds are very dear to me and in some

ways feel a part of me. I hope you enjoy the adventures of Tim and

the whole gang!
